The City of South Gate and South Gate Chamber of Commerce has the honor to present the 73rd Annual South Gate Children’s Christmas Lane Parade and Santa’s Village Festival held on December 9, 2018; parade is from 12:00 to 2:00 PM | festival is from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The Parade route creates a venue to display your institution in a community involvement event before a captive audience of more than 50,000 South Gate residents and surrounding communities. Beyond the crowds along Tweedy Blvd, the South Gate Children’s Christmas Lane Parade and Festival reaches an additional viewing audience via the live broadcast, expanding the viewing capacity.
Santa’s Village Festival is another outlet of marketing as this event is strategically placed at the end of the parade route at South Gate Park corner of Pinehurst Ave. and Tweedy Blvd (near the South Gate Park Senior Center). Santa’s Village is sponsored by local radio or TV station. We plan to distribute more than 3,000 toys to children at Santa’s Village this year. Santa’s Village is where children and families take photos with Santa; parade awards are announced and presented; children are able to ride a train and participate in other fun activities. Santa’s Village was created to give local businesses the opportunity to increase their visibility and provide a gateway to obtain sales leads and build relationships with parade attendees and potential clients.
